Summary:

Essential Functions And Responsibilities
- Assist in the hiring, training, evaluation, development, and disciplining of departmental employees.
- Act as a liaison, as necessary, between line staff and departmental leadership to ensure leadership is aware of any challenges with job performance, staffing levels, and/or job tasks
- Address any guest concerns by providing guest service recovery
- Establish standards of service within assigned department(s) and ensure achievement
- Monitor and control labor within the department while maintaining adequate coverage in the department based on business demands
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
- Monitor linen levels ordering to maintain par levels, laundry needs, and coordinate with vendors as needed including Housekeeping, EVS, and F&B linen and uniform cleaning needs
- Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 1 year prior laundry/linen experience
- Ability to communicate with both internal team members as well as outside vendors
- Proven experience providing high level of guest service
- Microsoft Office
- Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English both written and verbal
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
- Verify right to work in the United States
- Driver’s License and 3 year DMV printout
- Frequently stand or walk throughout the property
- Frequently squat, kneel, reach, bent, and twist
- Frequently push/pull up to 600lbs
- Frequently lift and/or carry up to 50lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels
