General Summary
Responsibilities are to ensure items purchased by the property are delivered by the vendor correctly and are in good condition. Follows company policies and procedures. Work in a fast-paced environment with speed and accuracy. Must be able to work unsupervised.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Receiving materials, product and parcels from vendors and delivery services.
- Verifying items delivered are correct and are in good condition.
- Filing paperwork for auditing purposes.
- Stocking items in the Warehouse.
- Pulling or picking items ordered from the Warehouse.
- Delivering items to departments.
- Keeping the Receiving and Warehouse areas safe and clean.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
- Provide outstanding guest service to all internal and external guests
Job Specifications – Qualifications
- Knowledge of basic receiving practices is required.
- One year warehouse experience is required.
- Must be able to use manual and electric pallet jack.
- Knowledge of basic computer skills.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain all cards required by the company.
- Must be able to verify right to work in the U.S.
Working Conditions – Physical Requirements - Occasionally walk, stand or stoop.
- Regularly walk, stand or stoop.
- Occasionally lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 100 lbs.
- Frequently lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Walk, stand, crouch or run on narrow, slippery or erratically moving surfaces.
- Work for sustained periods of time maintaining concentrated attention to detail.
