Job Summary:
As a Seasonal Pool Technician, you’ll assist with pool cleanings, chemical checks, openings, and closings across customer sites. You’ll work with experienced service techs and gain exposure to the pool industry — no experience required. This role requires physical stamina, reliability, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with pool openings and closings, including cover removal and equipment setup
- Perform weekly cleanings: skimming, brushing, vacuuming, emptying baskets
- Test and balance pool water chemistry (training provided)
- Carry, load, and handle pool chemicals safely
- Maintain and clean tools, hoses, and service vehicles
- Provide a friendly and respectful presence at customer homes
- Follow team instructions and safety protocols
- Help with light retail or in-store tasks on non-field days
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in summer conditions
- Positive, respectful, and professional attitude
- Able to follow directions, stay on task, and show up consistently
- Available 30–40 hours per week (or part-time depending on schedule)
Preferred (But Not Required):
- Experience with landscaping, general labor, cleaning, or seasonal work
- Familiarity with hand tools, hoses, or pumps
- Basic customer service or team-based work experience
Compensation:
- $16.00 – $18.00 per hour (based on availability and experience)
- Pay review possible after 30–60 days
- Opportunity to return for future seasons or grow into full-time roles
Schedule:
- Seasonal (April–August/September)
- Monday – Friday (some weekends possible)
- Start time approx. 9:00 AM
- Full-time or part-time options available
