Job Summary:
We are looking to hire additional swim instructors for our spring swim lessons session. We would also like the candidate to join our coaching staff as well.
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for providing swim lessons to individuals of all ages and skill levels. If you have a passion for swimming and enjoy teaching others, we encourage you to apply.
Duties:
- Conduct swim lessons in a safe and supportive environment
- Teach proper swimming techniques and water safety skills
- Develop lesson plans and tailor instruction to meet the needs of each student
- Provide feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their swimming abilities
- Ensure the pool area is clean, organized, and free from hazards
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
Requirements:
- Strong swimming skills and knowledge of various swimming strokes
- Previous experience in sports coaching, such as cheerleading, basketball, karate, or martial arts, is a plus
- Lifeguard certification is preferred but not required
- Experience working with children or students in a childcare or educational setting is beneficial
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well with individuals of all ages and skill levels
