Aquatech has an immediate need for a manager of business development, specifically servicing the Oil & Gas Downstream industry in Texas US. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, goals driven, a relationship builder, self-starter, and good communicator. This candidate will also have expertise in the Oil & Gas Downstream industry water treatment, regulatory, and corporate commitment landscape - understanding the industry’s most pressing needs both regionally and nationally.
They will have a deep track record in consultative engagements and sales of water & wastewater treatment solutions to US Oil & Gas Downstream customers. The candidate will preferably also have experience with water treatment performance chemicals and rental services.
Job Description:
- Development of new business opportunities for water & wastewater treatment solutions and performance chemicals to Oil & Gas Downstream clients in US.
- Develop strategic sales plans for individual Oil & Gas Downstream the US, mapping key accounts and geographies to specific Aquatech portfolio offerings
- Have in-depth knowledge of end-user and Corporate-level selling techniques including prospecting, opportunity generation, relationship selling, strategic selling, and closing.
- Negotiate long and short-term services contracts including operations and maintenance, performance chemicals, consumables, and select retrofit/asset upgrade contracts.
- Familiarity with various water treatment processes such as Pre-treatment, Filtration, desalination and performance chemicals.
- Ability to work effectively in a highly energetic and multiple-engagement environment, dedication to teamwork, a strong work initiative, and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas.
- Maintain strongly positive relations with key and primary accounts.

Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in direct sales and/or operational consulting related to produced water treatment in the US Oil & Gas Downstream industry
- 5 or more years of current experience within the Oil & Gas Downstream sector
- Customer-facing experience with performance chemicals, water and wastewater treatment solutions, mobile water treatment, and other services in the Oil & Gas Downstream sector.
- Bachelor’s degree - Sciences, Business, or Engineering.
- Travel: Approximately 50% of time
