Aquatech is expanding its HR department and has an immediate need for a full-time HR Generalist to work in our Hartland, WI office location. The hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. This is an in-office, in-person position.  Up to 5% travel required.

This position will carry out, with the majority of responsibilities in the following functional areas related to recruitment/employment, HRIS systems support, employee engagement, and support employee relations on site. A summary of some of the job responsibilities are listed below:

 

Job Description:

  • Partner with Human Resources Manager/VP HR to support execution of the recruitment and employment process.
  • Assist in recruitment to fill positions at the Wisconsin office and other locations as needed.
  • Develop university relations, responsible for coordinating campus/university recruitment, attending events, and participating in career fairs, information sessions, etc.
  • Responsible for ensuring applicant tracking system (Paycom) is updated and maintained daily.
  • Screen resumes and conduct HR phone screens in accordance with employment laws and regulations.
  • As assigned, conduct face-to-face candidate interviews & document/evaluate candidates’ responses.
  • Arrange travel details and communications between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Schedule candidate interviews and serve as a point of contact for candidates and internal staff during the interview/recruitment process.
  • Support the offer process (conduct references, coordinating background, employment, & driving checks, etc.)
  • Vendor Management (Zip Recruiter, LinkedIn, Justifacts, Drug Screens)
  • Create, update, and administer company “Onboarding”, New Hire communications, announcements and necessary employment paperwork.
  • Work with Corporate office to manage and improve orientation process for new hires.
  • Develop and manage employee retention activities such as new hire surveys, stay interviews, and follow up activities for new hires to ensure long term success.
  • Generate reports in applicant tracking system, evaluate data, report on trends and make recommendations on any possible issues.
  • Manage confidential personnel files and other privileged information.
  • Data entry, HRIS updates, and other confidential information filing/input.
  • Create and manage, with the HR Department, to coordinate various Employee Engagement activities.
  • Support of the HRIS system, generating reports and compiling analytical data.
  • Responsible for ensuring HRIS is updated and maintained daily.
  • Promote and develop positive employee relations by providing direct HR support to company associates.
  • Help coordinate and announce employee events and programs aligned with the Employee Engagement strategy and culture (Get Well Cards, Birth Announcements, flowers, recognition, etc.).
  • Variety of additional HR Team support functions (e.g. Knowledge Base, HR electronic network files, company events, special HR projects, etc.).
  • Facilitate employee communications to ensure clarity and understanding.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Physical Job Demands:

Qualifications/Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field of study.
  • 2 years of experience in related HR functions.
  • Knowledge of HRIS.
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Knowledge of Employment Law.
  • Knowledge of the Recruitment process.
  • Experience in administrative / coordination work required.
  • Exceptional customer service.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Prior Employee Engagement experience and knowledge.
  • Excellent data reporting skills.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and computer skills, including proficiency in report writing, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
