Aquatech has an immediate need for a full-time Procurement Technician position to work in our Hartland, WI office location. The hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Procurement Technician will perform the duties described in the job description below and will be considered a non-exempt employee.
The ideal candidate will have safe working habits, good communication and organization skills, the ability to interpret instructions, and attention to detail.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Two (2) years of experience in Administrative / Document Control
- Proficient in using MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Associate's Degree (preferred), High School Diploma, or GED equivalent required.
- Experience working in a related engineering company in a similar position is a pl.us
Job Description:
- Receive, review, compile, transmit, and maintain control records and related files to release drawings, procedures, quality documents, and engineering documents to our vendors.
- Receive, review, compile, transmit, and maintain control records and related files for files returned from operating departs to be returned to suppliers.
- Maintains related files for procurement and other departments as needed.
- Set up and maintain procurement’s master document registers for each project.
- Place small shop stock purchase orders in SAP, as needed.
- Perform clerical work; screen mail and compose correspondence based on general instruction, as needed.
- Additional Responsibilities as assigned.
Skill Requirements:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat.
