Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Production Efficiency Specialist to join our team in South Boston, VA. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production goals are met while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Mold Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of production molds to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor mold technicians, ensuring proper procedures are followed; assign tasks, set performance expectations, and conduct regular evaluations of team members.
- Workflow Optimization: Monitor and optimize workflow, ensuring mold shop operations align with production demands; implement improvements to enhance mold performance and reduce maintenance costs.
- Safety and Compliance: Enforce all safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment; conduct safety training and ensure employees adhere to company policies and industry standards.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in mold maintenance, fabrication, or related manufacturing roles; minimum of two (2) years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
