Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team working in the Fish Food and Fishing Supply Industry. Looking for a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. We are a small family owned business with a Family atmosphere. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service and support. Your ability to analyze customer needs, handle inquiries, and resolve issues will be crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. You would also be assisting our Production Warehouse and entering in production builds for inventory and ordering in supplies that are needed for production. Being a small business you will wear many hats and some days are stressful. But the good outweighs the bad. This is a full time position from 8am- 5pm. Occasional overtime if a big project needs to be completed. If you have a passion for helping others, possess strong communication skills, are able to multi-task, we want to hear from you. Must be able to pivot and help out other departments as needed.
Duties
- Provide outstanding client services by addressing inquiries via phone, email, or chat.
- Analyze customer feedback and data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently to maintain up-to-date customer records using Quickbooks and ECommerce sites
- Exhibit excellent phone etiquette while managing inbound and outbound calls.
- Assist customers with product information, order processing, and issue resolution.
- Enter in Purchase Orders to purchase supplies and communicate with Vendors
- Data entry of Production Builds into system that adds inventory to sell
- Print out product labels and prepare inventory to be shipped out to customers
- Communicate with Large Customers via an EDI program for orders, ship notifications and invoicing
- Process orders to ship via UPS, USPS, etc... and charge credit cards
- Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and improve processes.
- Maintain a professional demeanor while managing challenging customer interactions when needed
- Assist in keeping common employee areas clean
- Make sure orders are processed and shipped in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a call center, customer service environment, purchasing or warehousing is preferred.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate various software applications. Excel and Quickbooks is a must.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze information and provide solutions effectively.
- Being able to think on the fly as to what needs to be done next without guidance
- A positive attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional client services.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
