Summary
This position involves the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of aquatic systems, including commercial fountains and pools. The ideal candidate will have experience working with plumbing, electrical systems, and water filtration while ensuring high-quality installations that meet client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install aquatic systems such as aquariums, ponds, fountains, water features, and life support systems.
- Set up and configure filtration, circulation, and lighting systems.
- Ensure proper water chemistry and quality during installation.
- Perform plumbing, electrical, and structural work related to aquatic installations.
- Work with PVC, pumps, UV sterilizers, chillers, heaters, skimmers, and other aquatic equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation and operational issues.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure all work meets company and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and report project progress to supervisors.
- Provide customer education on system maintenance and care.
- Assist with service and maintenance tasks as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in aquarium, pond, or water feature installation is preferred.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, and water filtration systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with tools and heavy equipment.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various environments (indoor, outdoor, confined spaces).
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites.
