Applications Engineer 4

Our client is looking for a senior Full-Stack Engineer with 5 years of experience developing and maintaining JavaScript applications in a production environment. In this role, they will design and develop end-to-end solutions with a focus on data analytics, visualization, and notifications services. Experience:

• Advanced experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, and Redux
• Advanced experience using backend JavaScript tools such as Node.js and Express.js/Koa.js to develop RESTful APIs
• Production-level experience with TypeScript
• Strong functional programming experience across the stack
• Experience with data modeling, analytics, and tools such as Elasticsearch and SQL/NoSQL databases
• Experience with AWS, EKS, and Kubernetes
• Experience with Jenkins deployment pipelines and monitoring practices preferred
• Experience with Agile methodology and familiarity with project management tools such as Jira preferred
• Understanding of modern UX/UI design principles, ideally informed by experience with a design system such as Material Design preferred
• Typically requires a Bachelors Degree and minimum of 8 or 9 years directly relevant work experience
• Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law 6 yrs; Masters 7 yrs; Associates degree 9 yrs; High School 10 yrs.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $58.79 to $65.33 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
