Logistics Specialist

Job Description:

Join our clients team dedicated to providing critical service parts for military vehicles. As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end sales process for both direct and indirect government and military clients. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Responding to and completing Requests for Quotation (RFQs) for both direct and indirect sales.
• Managing the packaging and shopping cart process for award fulfillment.
• Facilitating direct part shipments, coordinating order details and timelines with suppliers.
• Processing spot buy requests, collaborating with the purchasing department to secure Purchase Orders (POs).
• Tracking order shipments and manually invoicing indirect customers through the IMS system.
• Accurately entering and invoicing indirect customer orders within the IMS system.
• Maintaining a database of lost or cancelled quotes.
• Generating quote reports utilizing the database.
• Providing essential product information, including weights and dimensions, to customers via the IMS system.
• Proactively tracking the status of indirect sales orders
• Collaborating with CCA Supply Chain and Logistics to monitor shipments.
• Investigating and resolving shipment discrepancies in conjunction with CCA Plant Operations.
• Processing credit requests within the IMS system, securing necessary financial approvals.
• Providing timely Estimated Times of Arrival (ETAs) for indirect sales and Parts Work Bench Plus orders.
• Investigating and resolving billing discrepancies in collaboration with Finance and Accounting.
• Researching outstanding customer invoices to support Finance and Accounting efforts.
• Addressing urgent issues and providing effective solutions as needed.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $20 to $22 per hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
