Duration: Approx. 12 Months
We're looking for a seasoned Marketing Content Specialist to join our team. This role is perfect for a highly organized and creative individual with a strong background in content creation and project management, ideally within the financial services industry.
Essentially, you'll be the go-to person for developing compelling marketing materials, from presentations for executive leadership to marketing briefs and website content. A key part of this will involve working closely with subject matter experts and our compliance team to ensure all content meets regulatory requirements. Experience with content management systems, particularly Drupal, is a huge plus, as is familiarity with digital asset management and project tracking tools.
We need someone who can not only write well but also understand how content fits into the bigger digital marketing picture. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, as you'll be working with various teams across the organization. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, and experience with mobile app content and product management is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Creating compelling presentations for diverse audiences and purposes, including an executive audience and the project team
- Creating marketing briefs that describe key details of the project, objectives, strategy, and deliverables
- Creating, editing, and updating marketing content based on business and regulatory needs, working with subject matter experts and Compliance.
- Building and reviewing content in Drupal content management system (CMS) using system components
- Maintaining assets and creative, including: Source and purchase new, compliant images, Crop and migrate images to the library, & Recommend folder structure, naming, and tagging
- Maintaining project documentation in a shared space
- Scheduling meetings and taking meeting minutes
- Participating in user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide consolidated feedback to Product Owner
Required Qualifications:
- 5-7 years writing creative briefs and strategy documentation
- 5-7 years crafting compelling presentations with effective and persuasive storytelling for executive audiences.
- 3-5 years’ experience in writing and managing content for web or mobile, with a preference for financial services content.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on the ability to create alliances, work collaboratively, and get things done in a corporate environment.
- Understanding of how content fits in a digital marketing ecosystem.
- Thorough knowledge of APA and Chicago Manual style guides.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Microsoft suite.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Impeccable attention to detail; you accomplish complex tasks with very few errors.
- Tech-savvy and inquisitive; Experience with content management systems, digital asset management, and databases.
- Mobile app experience highly desired.
- Experience using Drupal CMS to build and publish pages, highly desired.
- Product management experience is highly desired.
- Experience managing projects in project tracking tools (e.g., Workfront, JIRA).
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Communications, or other related discipline.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $35.21 to $39.13 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
