What are the responsibilities and job description for the Visual Designer position at Aquent Talent?
Our client is looking for a talented Visual / UI Designer to create amazing user experiences. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful design, possess superior UI skills and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts, and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces. This role will mainly function as the lead designer for all digital touch points : web apps, internal apps and customer facing external web page. This person will execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with the web team, graphic design and the application team to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience.
- Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
- Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
- Possesses strong understanding of brand, photography, iconography, infographics, user flow and layout design
Requirements and skills :
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $50 – $53 / hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match (if applicable).
