Process Improvement Specialist

This is a hybrid role based out of Rosemead, CA.

Pay Range: $31/hr $35/hr

Our client is looking for a Process Analyst and be part of a team that focuses on automation.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities/Workload:

\n
• Interface with process owners, including senior management, to understand business requirements and design solutions which improve workflow, increase efficiencies in cost and time, and reduce company risk.
\n
• Assess potential projects by gathering or documenting the as is process
\n
• Conduct thorough impact analysis and confirm ROI calculation before making recommendation to move forward with automation or not
\n
• Document detailed requirements working with subject matter experts
\n
• Coordinate the development process with developers and operations utilizing agile methodology and manage user acceptance approval
\n
• Collaborate with Sr Project Manager/Scrum Master on work assignments providing recommended solution or approach to complete the work
\n
• Assume ownership and attempt to resolve issues of assigned work
\n
• Provide support to move project through existing implementation gates
\n
• Make important decisions based off of the automation of business process that can have significant impact on people, process and customers
\n

Education Requirement

\n
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
\n

Required Skills/Attributes

\n
• Broad knowledge of project management, agile methodology and operational policies, procedures and practices.
\n
• Experience evaluating & documenting processes.
\n
• Ability to articulate in writing the steps/logic for an existing manual process, analytical thinking, organizational skills, ability to grasp concepts and convert that information into documentation.
\n

Desired Skills/Attributes

\n
• Ability to develop process flows; Experience working in MS Visio or other process documentation technology
\n
• Knowledge of snag-it and other software to assist with capturing images of current process
\n
• Experience working in in Agile Delivery mode
\n
• Experience with Project Management tools (MS Project, Octane)
\n
• Ability to communicate with business team an interpret requirements back to IT development teams.
\n

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $31 to $35 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
