What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Tester position at Aquent?
Aquent has an EXCITING opportunity for a QA Tester in Southlake, TX!
This position is 100% on-site. For this reason, we will only consider candidates who currently live in the Southlake, TX area and can commute to the office on a daily basis.
In addition, to be considered for this role, you must:
- Be authorized to work in the United States
- Not require sponsorship of any kind during the entire duration of the assignment. No C2C is permitted for this role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance Tester positions involve developing and/or supporting test cases and developing automation scripts using common automation testing tools.
- Quality Assurance Testers may also analyze which automated techniques best suit a particular application.
Required Qualifications:
- Experienced in implementing performance engineering processes, policies, procedures, and standards for performance engineering.
- Proficient in end-to-end performance assurance, early performance assessment, and validation of commercial and non-commercial on-premises and cloud-based applications.
- Demonstrated ability to build or configure tools to conduct performance tests.
- Expertise in identifying and resolving performance issues on a variety of server subsystems (CPU, Memory, Threads, I/O, etc.) and Operating Systems counters.
- Designed and Developed automated Performance, Stability, Scalability, and Reliability tests.
- Extensive experience in Performance Testing and Monitoring tools such as JMeter/Blazemeter, Splunk, AppDynamics, Thousand Eyes, etc.
- Experience with test data setup tools like K2View a plus
- Good working knowledge of operating systems, databases and programming languages (both procedural and object).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $40.02 to $44.47 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
