Sr. Product Manager - Disputes Lead (Financial Services)
Pay: $73-75 / hourly as W2, full benefits offered
Hybrid: (2 days on site: Dallas / NY / Wilmington)
Length of assignment: Initially 12 months, likely extension
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $73-75 / hourly as a W2 employee.
Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in a 401k plan with company match.
Our Client is a consulting group that supports other Financial organizations. They are partnering with a growing Financial based team that will be supporting upcoming projects.
The role is hybrid, onsite up to 2 days each week in one of the below locations:
- Richardson, TX
- New York City, NY
- Wilmington, DE
Experience:
- Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience of Product experience, ideally with most in the Financial / payments space.
- 10 to 15 years of experience in Product Management, Risk Management or Engineering with credit cards in an agile product development environment.
- Should possess strong domain knowledge of Credit Card Reg Z Disputes processes, and various other credit cards processes.
- In-depth knowledge of the MasterCard Chargeback process, and preferably should know have implementation experience in optimizing various chargeback related workflows
- Strong communication skills to articulate and align requirements across a wide spectrum of stakeholders and developers
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA, Confluence, SQL
- - Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree

This SVP - Disputes Product Lead will drive the end-to-end product development lifecycle for new features and capabilities in the Disputes domain by using a data-driven approach. The role will involve working closely with Engineering, Operations, Legal & Compliance teams to develop solutions that improve customer experience and agent experience. This team has a fast-paced result driven culture, and is looking for a Sr. candidate who is proactive and can work with a sense of urgency.
Job summary:
- Define product strategy using a combination of quantitative and qualitative research to inform roadmap and development priorities
- Partner with engineering teams, business stakeholders, and Legal & Compliance to design risk capabilities that drive exceptional customer experience
- Articulate product vision, features, and requirements to different audiences to gain buy-in across the organization
- Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and participate in the full software development lifecycle with engineers and designers
- Identify, document, and improve existing processes to maximize efficiency in constantly evolving environments
- Collaborate with other product managers and designers to ensure cohesiveness of the overall customer experience
- Research and remain current on the latest industry trends and recommend tools, services, and practices for improvement
