About the Role :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Vendor Compliance and Risk Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring vendor compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements through diligent review and assessment processes. You will play a critical role in managing vendor risk by collecting, analyzing, and documenting vendor information, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of vendor records, and facilitating remediation of identified issues.

Responsibilities :

Vendor Compliance Review :

Monthly Compliance Review : Execute the monthly compliance review process to ensure ongoing vendor adherence to established standards and contractual obligations.
Data Collection : Request and collect comprehensive vendor compliance records and performance information, including but not limited to certifications, audit reports, and performance metrics.
Documentation and Assessment : Conduct thorough assessments of vendor documentation, meticulously documenting findings in the Vendor Risk Management system.
Issue Remediation : Proactively follow up with vendors on identified compliance issues, ensuring timely and effective remediation.
Review Approval : Ensure all compliance reviews are completed and approved according to established procedures.

Information Security Assessment :

Due Diligence Refresh : Manage the periodic due diligence refresh process for vendor information security assessments.

Documentation Review : Request, collect, and meticulously review vendor information security assessment due diligence documentation for completeness and accuracy.

System Maintenance : Ensure the Vendor Risk Management system is consistently updated with planned review periods, adhering to all relevant policies.

Vendor Risk Maintenance :

Certificate of Insurance Management : Request and review Certificates of Insurance to verify compliance with contractual terms.

System Administration : Manage the activation and deactivation of personnel accounts within the Vendor Risk Management system.

Engagement Management :

Manage engagements assigned to the Vendor Risk Team, ensuring timely and efficient completion.

Review all engagements within the VMO inbox, collaborating with team members to assign tasks effectively.

Request and manage required documentation for vendor engagements related to assignments, acquisitions, or mergers.

Risk Alert Management :

Review notifications for potential cybersecurity threats.

Monitor and analyze changes in vendor credit risk, changes in vendor controls, judgments / liens, lawsuits, and other relevant risk factors.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience in vendor management, compliance, or risk management.

Strong understanding of vendor risk management principles and best practices.

Experience with vendor risk management systems and tools.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and1 as part of a team.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Knowledge of information security principles and practices is a plus.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $30 to $35 per hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
