The Vendor Compliance Analyst is a key role responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our merchandise costs and maintaining vendor compliance. This position involves managing and auditing cost data, facilitating communication between the buying team, vendors, and accounting, and ensuring adherence to vendor policies. This role will play a crucial position in resolving compliance issues, addressing cost discrepancies, and contributing to the development of strategies to meet evolving business needs. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Process all cost updates via vendor price lists using Excel and ERP system.
- Maintain and audit existing merchandise style costs for accuracy.
- Determine and communicate cost corrections to appropriate Merchandise Team partners.
- Review any cost discrepancies by determining costs within company guidelines to resolve invoice discrepancies with appropriate partners (accounting, vendors, and internal buying team).
- Act as the primary point of contact for vendor compliance issues, working closely with stores and logistics teams to resolve any issues.
- Educate vendors on company policies and ensure their adherence. Enforce vendor policies to maintain high standards and prevent non-compliance.
- Communicate the result of vendor chargebacks and any larger issues or patterns to vendors and Merchant Partners
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all cost changes, audits, and compliance activities.
- Understand business needs and supports efforts in developing a business strategy, operating model and process definitions to address any business issues.
- Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearance.
- Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management.
- Adhere to all local, federal and state laws in addition to Company policies, procedures, and practices.
- Performs any other duties that may be assigned by management.

PAY RANGE : $25.00 - $27.00 / hr
