Position Overview: The Microsoft Power Applications Analyst plays a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining tailored solutions utilizing Microsoft PowerApps, Power BI, PowerShell, and Azure technologies. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to create automated workflows, interactive dashboards, and custom applications, ensuring seamless integration with Azure services and Entra ID to enhance security and efficiency. This role involves managing multiple concurrent projects aligned with the firm’s business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy custom applications using Microsoft PowerApps to meet specific needs of the firm.
- Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI for effective data visualization and actionable insights.
- Write, maintain, and troubleshoot PowerShell scripts for automation, integration, and system administration.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365 services (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Dataverse) and third-party systems.
- Develop workflows utilizing Power Automate to automate repetitive tasks and processes.
- Leverage Azure services (e.g., Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Storage) to enhance and scale Power Platform solutions.
- Configure and manage authentication, permissions, and security measures using Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) and other identity management tools.
- Ensure data governance, compliance, and security across Power Platform and Azure environments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver user-centered solutions.
- Stay updated on emerging features, tools, and technologies within Power Platform, Azure, and Entra ID for innovation and improvement opportunities. Participate in projects for software implementation and upgrades.
- Assist in the management of software requests and updates.
- Conduct quality assurance testing for compatibility issues and maintain knowledge base and SOP documentation.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in developing applications using Microsoft PowerApps.
- Strong proficiency in creating Power BI dashboards and data models.
- Practical experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and system administration.
- Knowledge of Azure services such as Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure Storage.
- Skilled in managing authentication, permissions, and access control via Entra ID (Azure Active Directory).
- Experience with Power Automate for workflow creation and process automation.
- Familiarity with Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL, and other common data sources associated with the Power Platform.
- Understanding of REST APIs, OData services, and integration techniques.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Availability during off-hours to monitor application servers and respond as needed.
- Certifications in Microsoft Power Platform (e.g., PL-100, PL-200, PL-400) and Azure (e.g., AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-204) are advantageous.
- Background in IT administration or support, particularly focused on Azure and Power Platform.
