What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Project Manager position at Aquesst?
Responsibilities
- Relationship builder with a focus on long term, lasting relationships with internal teammates and external stakeholders
- Understand the customer’s expectations through detailed knowledge of the SOW between the company and the customer
- Guide a delivery team of Project Managers and Project Coordinators to deliver the “Memorable Experience” through the execution of installation
- Be able to read CAD / DWG Drawings to help guide contractors and vendors in installing and commissioning assets being installed
- As the senior teammate for a project, work with Customers to understand potential risks and mitigation plans during the implementation phase of projects, including creative ways to mitigate challenges as they arise
- Ensure that the project and commissioning plans are up to date, on time with all risks understood and appropriately communicated to the appropriate parties
- Help create and then ensure the project team is carrying out all test and commissioning plans in accordance with the agreed to scope with the customer
- Ability to help support commissioning activities on site utilizing prior working knowledge of integrated systems
- Manage the internal project to ensure proper financial behavior from a profit and cost expectations
- Be able to articulate the “why” of a project with comfort and conviction, and be able to manage the Change Order Process when required
- Learn about new and emerging technologies, as well as non-traditional solutions, and how to commission technologies that the company solutions
- Proactive communication with internal and external stakeholders, guiding conversations and ensuring commitments are met from all parties
- Assist and share work duties across the team as we grow
