Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Branch Security Supervisor to oversee the safety and security operations within our operations in the Grand Junction area. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in law enforcement or military service, and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment for all employees and visitors. This role requires expertise in loss prevention, conflict management, and surveillance techniques.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage security personnel to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify potential security risks and implement corrective measures.
- Assist with site duties and inmate transport duties from day-to-day, depending on the needs of the operations.
- Meet with clients weekly related to ongoing operations and updating site post orders and duties accordingly.
- Assist with acquisition of new clients to the Western Slope market to strengthen company position in area.
- Train security staff in conflict management techniques and emergency response protocols.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, investigations, and security breaches for management review.
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the security field or related industry.
- Should have at least 4 years of prior law enforcement experience, preferably in a leadership capacity.
- Familiarity with loss prevention practices and conflict resolution strategies.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred.
- Background in law enforcement or military service is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
Position is primarily day operations, however, we operate 24/7 and needs may arise to assist in other positions from time-to-time.

Pay: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
