Product Design Associate

Aquinas Consulting has an immediate need for a Researcher, R&D Product Design at a world class R&D facility in the Danbury, CT area.  This is a growth oriented, entry level role with a national leader in battery / fuel cell technology.

Background / skills / capabilities required

• BS Chemistry, Electrical or Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, or a relevant Science
• Must be very comfortable working with large amounts of data and able to do basic data processing
• Basic understanding of Statistics - advanced knowledge desirable
• Excellent M / S office, written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to adhere to safety policies, maintain a safe work environment
• Experience working with chemicals in a lab environment
• Skilled using hand tools in a lab setting
• Ability to make progress on multiple projects in parallel

Job Description :

Generating quality data through experimentation

Pre-test inspections including dimensions, voltage, impedance

Hand fabrication of cell components such as electrodes, separators and current collectors
