Aquinas Consulting is hiring for a Researcher, R&D Product Design job for a world-class R&D facility in the Danbury, CT area. This is an entry-level, growth-oriented role with a national leader in battery and fuel cell technology. The ideal candidate will be responsible for data handling, cell testing, and prototype cell preparation in a lab setting.
Researcher, R&D Product Design job Responsibilities :
- Generate quality data through experimentation, collection, organization, and reporting.
- Perform statistical analysis of cell test data using JMP software.
- Conduct pre-test inspections, including dimensions, voltage, and impedance.
- Execute post-mortem teardown and failure analysis of tested cells.
- Hand fabricate cell components such as electrodes, separators, and current collectors.
- Build and assemble alkaline and nickel cells for technical and consumer testing.
- Set up and troubleshoot cell assembly equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and maintain a safe lab environment.
