Environmental Consultant (0-5 years of experience)
We are seeking an ambitious individual to join our Lakewood, Colorado office to provide services to our environmental, health and safety customers. If the candidate is an engineer working towards their PE, they will receive service years towards their 4 year work experience requirement under an Aquionix PE.
Primary roles and responsibilities will include:
General regulatory compliance for customers related to the CWA, RCRA, SPCC/FRP, EPCRA, CERCLA, UIC, CAA and related interpretation, research, regulatory liaison and reporting requirements
Drafting stormwater management plans, SPCC plans, providing support/review of waste program/plan development
Project management for several smaller clients, including invoice review and proposal development
Technical/regulatory research
Preparation of technical documents, including compliance procedures, plans and permit applications
Act as the project management for several clients, including invoice review and proposal development
Secondary roles and responsibilities will include:
Scheduling and performance of field sampling and monitoring
Review and analysis of data;
Preparation of reports;
Upkeep of 12-month rolling emission logs
Regulatory compliance auditing
Education: A bachelors degree in environmental, health and safety, engineering, science or a related technical field is required.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will have:
0 to 5 years of applicable experience
Environmental consulting or direct industry experience in environmental compliance
Ability to work independently, communicate clearly (excellent oral and writing communication skills)
Strong attention to detail
Ability to solve complex problems and provide creative and flexible solutions
Personality traits to interact with a large variety of clientele
Proficient skills in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint · Familiarity with Sharepoint, a plus
40-hour HAZWOPER training with current 8-hour refresher, a plus
24-hour Surface MSHA training with current 8-hour refresher, a plus
Compensation: Commensurate with experience, salary range $55K - $70K.
Salary : $55,000 - $70,000
