Arabella Health & Wellness of Pensacola, is looking for a dynamic, creative, quality-focused Dietary Manager focused on customer service for our long-term care facility dietary program.
The candidate must have their CDM certification,be able to recruit, train and motivate the dietary team to meet the needs of our residents and work as part of our interdisciplinary team to promote total quality improvement.
Requirements include Understanding of rules and regulations associated with long-term care settings, special diet requirements, labor, grocery and labor efficiency practices, and customer service and satisfaction.

BASE KNOWLEDGE :
Ability to ensure quality food products are prepared according to the menu and standardized recipes.
- Ability to procure and store all food and supplies
- Ability to supervise the operation of the Dietary Service Department staff daily
- Genuine care and interest in elderly and handicapped people
- Ability to comply with Company and departmental safety policies and procedures
- Accountable for dietary compliance and excellence
- Ability to ensure proper handling and utilization of all foods and equipment to prevent contamination and unsafe acts.
- Ability to complete initial interviews for each resident to determine their food preferences and special needs. Update and maintain resident diet cards. Complete annual and quarterly assessments, with consultation from the dietitian as needed.
- Ability to maintain all department records so they are accurate, current, organized, and secure
- Ability to interview, select, evaluate, motivate and discharge dietary service personnel
- Ability to supervise, plan for, schedule, and coordinate the work of dietary service employees
- Ability to develop and conduct in-service and orientation programs for dietary service employees monthly
