As part of the Arabella Health and Wellness Group family, you will lead and manage the facility's sales, marketing, and admissions, to provide the number of referrals and admissions that are required to meet or exceed facility census and revenue goals, by accomplishing the specific business goals
As Corporate Business Development Director, the primary purpose of your job position is to support the admissions department’s activities in the pre-admission, admission, discharge, and follow-up for all Arabellea communities. You are entrusted to provide innovative, responsible healthcare with the creation and implementation of new ideas and concepts that continually improve systems and processes to achieve superior results. You will coordinate effective marketing and sales programs, to ensure that the community meets or exceeds its targeted occupancy objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Growth:
Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Identify new market opportunities, potential partnerships, and revenue streams within the skilled nursing and healthcare industry.Relationship Building & Networking:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, physicians, referral sources, insurance companies, and government agencies. Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand our network and market presence.Market Research & Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities within the skilled nursing and long-term care sectors. Use data-driven insights to inform business strategies and enhance service offerings.Sales & Lead Generation:
Oversee the identification and qualification of new business leads, including potential partnerships, acquisitions, and facility expansions. Lead outreach efforts and manage the sales process from initial contact to contract negotiation and finalization.Partnership Development:
Establish and nurture partnerships with healthcare organizations, hospital systems, and other providers to enhance the company’s service offerings and market reach.Collaboration & Team Leadership:
Work closely with internal teams, including operations, marketing, and finance, to ensure alignment of business development strategies with the company's objectives. Lead, mentor, and support a team of business development professionals.Contract Negotiations:
Lead negotiations for new business opportunities, including mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures. Ensure favorable terms for the company while maintaining strong, positive relationships with partners.Reporting & Metrics:
Monitor and report on business development performance, key metrics, and progress toward growth targets. Provide regular updates to senior leadership and make data-driven recommendations for improving business development efforts.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Marketing, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.Experience:
At least 5-7 years of experience in executive level leadership, business development, sales, or strategic planning within the healthcare industry, specifically in skilled nursing, long-term care, or senior living services. Experience in mergers, acquisitions, and partnership development is highly desirable. Proven outcomes and metrics will need to be shown.Skills & Abilities:
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
