What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guest Service Agent position at Arabella Hotel Sedona?
Our hotel is hiring for a Hotel Receptionist to serve as the face of our guests. We are looking for friendly part time or full time team members who genuinely enjoy being around people and who can manage multiple tasks at once. The ideal candidate will have previous customer service experience and will understand the importance of responding quickly to guests’ needs and complaints. You’ll be corresponding with guests through email, over the phone and in person.
- Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner.
- Knows all essential aspects of our hotel operations.
- Registers guests and check out guests.
- Collects payments by accepting cash, check, or charge payments from customers; and makes change for cash customers.
- Verifies credit acceptance by reviewing and recording driver’s license number; and operating credit card authorization systems.
- Balances cash drawer by counting cash at beginning and end of work shift.
- Responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
- Provides pre-arrival support for guests arriving on packages.
If you’ve worked in the hotel industry before, we definitely want to talk to you. However, we’re also willing to train the right applicant.
