Summary
The Inside Sales Representative reports directly to the Director of Sales and is responsible for playing a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. The Inside Sales Representative will be making outbound calls daily, working with partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales, working with outside Sales Representatives.Job Description
Essential Job Functions
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up cold calls and emails.
- Answer retention calls.
- Handles contract negotiations.
- Understand customer needs and requirements.
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
- Close sales and achieve quotas.
- Research and resolve accounts when required assuring current accounts maintain proper service level required.
- Quote the proper service level for new accounts.
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory.
- Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals.
- Educate and inform of services to prospects.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in an inside sales role.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Strong phone presence and experience outbound campaigns.
- Proficient in building trusting relationships with customers and being attentive to their needs.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Experience working with Vocal Com or similar CRM.
- Experienced in prospecting potential customers.
- Ability to close sales opportunities.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Strong multitasking abilities.
- Customer focused and exceptional listening abilities.
- High motivation to drive sales.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software.
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual English / Spanish
- Work experience in the waste or transportation industry.
Salary: $21.71 - $35.52/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with one Saturday per month
