Job Description
As a National Account Director of Hospitality, the role is responsible for the day-to-day operations in conjunction with the on-site General Managers across the United States.
They will :
Manage and guide the activities of their management team
Set the strategic / tactical direction for each account
Develop and implement national account strategies for increasing sales and profits through national customers
Create, build and maintain positive business relationships with Aramark's current and prospective customers
Grow existing annual customer revenues by 20-30% by adding new products and services, adding new locations and price increases.
This individual will be charged with the overall account development, including proposals for expansion to sites served and services provided. Responsible for managing both client and Aramark budgets.
Job Responsibilities
In order to be prepared for this leadership role, qualified candidates will possess :
Proven leadership experience, typically acquired over 5-10 years, including P&L responsibility within the hospitality, retail, facilities, direct store delivery or food and beverage industries.
Demonstrated leadership skills with a broad knowledge of management practices, business judgement and client / consumer interaction.
Confirmed ability to hire, assess, develop and grow hard-working talent.
Comfortable reading, understanding, and implementing contractual requirements, including identifying opportunities within contract terms and conditions to address operational issues.
Established communication and teamwork skills to work with all levels of the organization from the front line associate through leadership.
Excellent financial and business understanding a must.
Bachelor’s degree is generally required to be successful; advanced degree in business or related field is preferred.
Qualifications
Candidate should have at least 5-7 years experience at a District Manager level or equivalent
Experience in analyzing markets and customer needs to develop innovative strategies leading to increased sales.
Must be able to create systems and processes to manage remotely.
Excellent client and communication capabilities.
Must be able to deal with senior levels within both Aramark and client organization.
Excellent financial and business understanding a must.
