Job Description
The Transportation Logistics team is responsible for taking manifests from tour companies and building buses for tours. The transportation logistics team will also function as the in-park call center, taking reservations for tours. Customer service and troubleshooting are significant parts of the position.

It is conveniently accessible by road-4.5 hours from Anchorage and 2 hours from Fairbanks. Doyon Limited and Aramark have teamed up in a joint venture as the Denali National Park & Preserve's concessionaire. Open May to September, our operation manages transportation, retail, guest services, and food and beverage concessions with our client; The National Park Service. By road, Our 100 Blue Bird Bus Fleet takes guests past the 15-mile public access point daily during summer months, allowing people to hike, view wildlife, climb, and camp where few people have set foot.

Job Responsibilities
- Develop knowledge of SMS reservation system and take reservations over the phone.
- Distribute manifests and schedules to the respective tour companies.
- Create tour schedules based upon the bus tours that have been built.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by other Department Managers.
- Employees are responsible for general knowledge of corporate environmental policies and procedures and how they relate to their job functions.
- Employees are responsible for knowing the environmental aspects and associated impacts of their job position. Job-specific Environmental Aspects and Impacts will be communicated by Department Managers during EMS training.
- Employees will be aware of environmental objectives and targets within their department and how the objectives and targets affect their job performance.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Must have attention to detail.
- Must also be able to multitask when required.
- Strong ability to effectively execute MS Office, MS Word, MS Excel programs.
- Ability to utilize in-house computer system, SMS (Springer Miller System).
- Previous experience and/or desire to work in the tourism industry preferable.
