Job Description
Position Summary : The Storeroom Clerk manages the inventory and storage of materials and supplies.
Job Responsibilities
Essential Functions :
- Receive and store all incoming food and supplies, noting any defects.
- Return improper or unacceptable products.
- Store groceries and supplies in the correct locations (e.g., meats and frozen vegetables in the freezer).
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all storage areas.
- Rotate stock according to FIFO guidelines.
- Perform daily and weekly sanitation cleanings.
- Complete monthly inventories.
- Perform special cleaning tasks and other duties as assigned.
