The Industrial Press Mechanic role is critical to ensuring that production runs smoothly. With a wide range of tools at your disposal, you will be responsible for upgrading, maintaining, and installing equipment to make sure that Arandell continues running for the next 100 years.
This is a 2nd shift opening: 3PM-11PM.

The employee works in a production environment. Additionally, the incumbent will work near moving mechanical parts and in high places. He/she will be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. There is frequent noise in the work environment.

What Youll Do On The A-team
- Manufactures production parts and upgrades equipment modifications.
- Monitors and maintains proper parts inventory.
- Maintains preventative maintenance schedule with proper documentation.
- Cleans, lubricates, and adjusts parts, equipment, or machinery.
- Cuts and welds material to repair broken parts, fabricate/machine new parts, or assemble new equipment.
- Documents repairs and maintenance performed.
- Repairs or maintains the operating condition of industrial production or processing machinery or equipment.
- Reads and interprets manufacturers' manuals to determine the correct installation or operation of machinery.
- Follows all plant and OSHA procedures, performs all duties safely and in accordance with all work and safety rules, and established work and industry practices.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Availability to work assigned shift schedule.
- Previous experience with machine tooling, welding, pneumatics, hydraulics, pipe installation, chiller plants, and waste systems.
- Industrial maintenance experience in a high-speed plant production environment.
- Ability to weld, braze, and cut with: Plasma Cutter, MIG, TIG, Stick, or Oxygen/Act Torch.
- Experience using precision measuring equipment (scales, micrometers, and indicators).
- Troubleshoot pneumatics and hydraulics with the ability to read/understand schematics.
- Previous experience with installation of copper, black pipe, PVC, or groove lock piping.
