Are you a recent graduate looking to jumpstart your career in logistics and operations? Arauco is seeking a motivated and organized intern to professional who will join the team during the summer of 2025. This position is fully onsite and operates out of our Atlanta, GA Corporate office.

What We’re Looking For

• Recent graduate or current student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent computer skills, especially with MS Word and Excel
• Possess self-motivation, eagerness to learn, professionalism and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to perform under pressure with a strong sense of urgency
• Strong communications skills – both written and verbal
• Organization skills to manage an influx of emails and scheduling
• Collaboration is key to Arauco’s success. This role requires collaboration with our Inside and Outside Sales teams.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Assist and improve reporting for – this role will be vital to streamlining and automating processes with excel
• Keep accurate records of outstanding loads and load assignments
• Distribute daily reporting such as missed pickups, end of day arrivals
• Prioritize loads using multiple sources of information
• Work daily within our SAP and TMS systems
• Communicate with various mills, planning team and carriers to ensure scheduling accuracy
• Ensure all stakeholders are informed of shipment statuses, issues, or opportunities
• Other duties as needed to ensure the success of our organization and the Transportation team
• Work with carriers who participate in our Preload Drop Trailer Program
