What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aid Station Crew - Colorado position at Aravaipa?

· Applicant needs to be available for weekend & overnight hours for races

Job Purpose
Aravaipa is an event management company specializing in endurance running and mountain biking events. It takes a strong team to setup a safe, professional, and well-organized event for our participants. Our Aid Station team takes great pride in providing the highest level of nutrition and hydration options to help the runners / riders get to the finish line.
· The Aid Station team completes the whole process of planning, shopping, packing, setting up and implementing all food and drink options at the races. They provide knowledge and support in caring for these athletes. When the race is complete, Aid Station Crew will pack up the aid station bins. When the bins are returned to our warehouse, they clean and put away all items in preparation for the next race.
Required Skills
Candidates must be physically able to lift numerous bins and boxes of heavy food and supplies. We work in all weather conditions and hours of the day.
Responsibilities
The following is a list of some of the typical functions the Aid Station Crew will be working on for any given event. The management team may ask for additional help in other areas of the business including store sales or event security not listed below, but these are general responsibilities that the Aid Station Crew will perform on a regular basis. It’s a team effort!
· Shop for food and supplies
· Shop for perishable foods and ice
· Pack aid station bins
· Pack ice chests
· Prepare food for the race
· Set up aid stations at the race site
· Work the aid station
· Pack up the aid station
· Clean all items when everything returns to the warehouse
Salary : $16 - $17
