What are the responsibilities and job description for the Welder - Production position at ARBOC Specialty Vehicles, LLC?
Essential Duties:
HS Diploma or equivalent.
- Work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to weld using various materials and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to interpret weld symbols
- Must be able to perform all work allocated
- Complete talks while ensuring performance targets and quality are met
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision
HS Diploma or equivalent.
- Two to three years of welding experience in a manufacturing environment
- Computer and organizational skills
- Have good interpersonal and communications skills
- Previous experience with 5S and lean manufacturing would be considered an asset
- Goal orientated and motivated to achieve tasks within set timelines
- Thorough knowledge of all types of welding procedures and practices
- This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day. Must be able to lift and/or move items over 25 poiunds
