Essential Duties:
•Work effectively in a team environment.
•Ability to weld using various materials and techniques.
•Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
•Ability to interpret weld symbols.
•Must be able to perform all work allocated.
•Complete talks while ensuring performance targets and quality are met.
•Must be able to work with minimum supervision
HS Diploma or equivalent.
•Two to three years of welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
•Computer and organizational skills.•Have good interpersonal and communications skills.
•Previous experience with 5S and lean manufacturing would be considered an asset.
•Goal orientated and motivated to achieve tasks within set timelines.
•Thorough knowledge of all types of welding procedures and practices.
•This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day. Must be able to lift and/or move items over 25 poiunds.
