Our field technicians, responsible for installing printers, replacing computers, troubleshooting hardware, deploying new equipment, and the like, use their excellent problem-solving skills and IT knowledge to assist customers with their everyday needs. A well-rounded Computer Network Technician with MSP (Managed Service Provider) experience to support our clients. Position is both mostly onsite support. This position is responsible for new computer setup, profile migrations, program installation, and more. You will also be managing and maintaining client networks, including firewall, switches, servers, and wiring.
IT Technician Duties:
Respond promptly to support requests from clients and internal staff regarding system support, applications support, connectivity issues, software installations, upgrades, etc., and resolve issues to minimize downtime within mission-critical systems. Perform the administrative activities of maintaining Windows 7/8/2008/2012/2016 servers and PCs, Active Directory, and mobile email support.
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years of technical experience
Experience with Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange
Active directory administration skills
Ability to provide and maintain detailed documentation on each job
Experience with routers, switches, and other networking devices
Experience with virtual environments
Ability to remain in contact with the client through the completion of the incident
Problem-solving skills and the ability to meet reasonable deadlines
Ability to build positive and collaborative relationships
Ability to work with little supervision and manage a team
Ability to work on multiple priorities and/or projects simultaneously
Excellent listening and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong customer relationship skills
Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
Recommendations:
A Certification is preferred
NET Certification is preferred
Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSA) is preferred
MSP experience is preferred
Valid driver's license and proof of insurance. Background check and drug screen required. Reliable transportation.
