What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grapple Truck Operator for Tree Removal position at Arbor Equity?
We are seeking a Grapple Truck Operator to join our team! This role primarily involves driving but also requires operating the truck crane and grapple attachment to safely load and unload logs, branches, and debris.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and operate a grapple truck to haul wood, debris, and other materials to and from job sites.
- Safely load and unload logs, tree trunks, and branches using the grapple attachment.
- Perform cleanup at job sites to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Conduct routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment, including checking fluids, bolts, filters, and greasing bearings.
- Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the foreman or operations manager.
- Work in all weather conditions and be available for additional shifts when needed (e.g., storm cleanup or weekend jobs).
- Keep track of inventory and submit reports to management.

Requirements:
