Reports to : Senior Director of Revenue Management

Salary Range : $110,000 - $120,000

Summary :

The Regional Director of Revenue Management is responsible for the Revenue Management for a section of our hotel portfolio. They will provide direction to the hotels on how to maximize revenue through management of room inventories, market mix, and pricing strategies. This position will be located onsite in the Chicago Corporate Office .

Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Assist and review in forecasting for properties
  • Have in-depth knowledge of transient, group, and catering segments and skills in researching market presence for individual properties
  • Demonstrate great time management, communication, and presentation skills
  • Have strong knowledge and understanding of revenues management concepts, processes and systems, advanced revenue management techniques, and the ability to communicate these concepts to others
  • Understand brand strategies and cultures and how to integrate them into revenue plans for properties
  • Perform daily analysis, strategy changes, and reporting of competitive benchmarks in market trends
  • Develop pricing strategies for each assigned property
  • Manage and oversee all third-party distribution
  • Analyze overall monthly hotel performance and provide a summary report with recommendations to improve long-term strategies
  • Practice finding less expensive means to reduce the cost of distribution
  • Prepare and participate in the annual revenue budget process
  • Advise and coach the client in the operational areas
  • Visit hotels to get first-hand knowledge of revenue management issues and other key areas

Requirements

Qualifications :

  • 3-5 years of experience in hospitality management
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
  • Marriott and Hilton revenue system knowledge required, IHG and Hyatt preferred
  • Have a strong ability to communicate
  • Have a Bachelor's degree or higher, or have relevant experience
  • One Yield V2 certification is a plus
  • Have a strong working knowledge of TravelClick products
