It is an important element of Arbor Place’s mission to positively contribute to the prevention of substance use and mental health disorders in the communities we serve. We offer a range of services, including residential treatment, outpatient programs, prevention initiatives, and support services. Our dedicated team of professionals are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of those affected by substance use and mental health disorders.
Internship Details:
- We are accepting internship applications for Summer.
- Interns can be enrolled in associate's, bachelor's or master's degree program.
- Interns will have the opportunity to complete rotations in various departments, including Residential Treatment, Residential Support, Outpatient, Prevention and Administration.
- The rotations will provide exposure to different facets of substance use and mental health disorders and offer hands-on learning experiences.
- Interns will work closely with experienced professionals, observe and engage in relevant tasks, and develop their skills in a supportive environment.
Intern Requirements:
- Enrolled in an associate's, bachelor's or master's degree program related to human development, social work, substance use, mental health, psychology or related fields.
- Strong interest in and commitment to the field of mental health and helping individuals and families affected by substance use and mental health disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Contribute to a healthy workplace culture.
Important Information:
- Internships at Arbor Place, Inc. are unpaid.
- Interns must adhere to a set schedule approved by the organization throughout the internship period.
- All internship positions are subject to a selection process, including interviews, and reference checks.
- Selected interns will be required to sign an internship agreement outlining the terms and expectations, pass a Wisconsin Caregiver background check and submit urinalysis for drug screen due to the nature of services we provide.
