Job Title: ROW Tree Crew Foreman-Bilingual in Spanish

Manage employees’ performance, job site operations, implement safety process, policies and general company procedures. This is a hands-on leadership role that includes production climbing and crew oversight.

Location: Primary locations in Georga and Tennessee and surrounding areas. 90% to 100% travel depends upon job location.

Job Responsibilities:

· Supervise ROW climbers and grounds crew, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.

· Focus crew efforts on safe execution of work to meet production schedules.

· Responsible for supervising and assisting with mentoring and training team members, fostering a supportive work environment.

· Ensure daily inspections of all work equipment and gear for crew are performed by crew members.

· Communicates effectively with Supervisor on all required needs – schedule, work plan, employee performance.

· Understands equipment operations, work processes, and safety procedures for employee training and monitoring.

· Hands-on experience with the various tasks and equipment associated with ROW MAINTENANCE – sky trim, tree climbing, mulching, chipping, grapple operations, brush removal, etc.

· Maintains adherence to company safety policies, standards, and good practices.

· Defines and initiates a culture of best practices.

· Assists in daily Safety Meetings – translating and assuring transparent communications.

· Assists in identifying needs for employee training.

Essential Duties:

· Experience with proper side trimming techniques.

· Perform all aspects of tree pruning and removal services safely and skillfully.

· Performs hazardous tree assessments and removals.

· Use of chainsaw and/or pole saw and hand tools to cut tree debris and complete task at hand.

· Works around hazardous equipment and falling limbs.

· Communicates staging areas and safe zones on the jobsite to protect coworkers and the public.

· Able to perform the physical duties and tasks in all types of weather environments.

· Work is performed at various heights.

· Utilizes all appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications:

· Must be able to travel out of town weekly, year-round.

· Must have a valid driver’s license.

· Must be able to lift 75 pounds.

· Must be able to safely operate equipment.

· Must be able to traverse uneven terrain.

· Must be able to work outside in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.).CDL or capable of obtaining CDL a plus.

· Must be legally authorized to work in the US.Must be drug free and pass all drug and alcohol screens as required by Company policy.

• Bilingual English/Spanish – Required.

Preferred:

· Two (2) years Supervisory experience with Right-of-Way operations.

· Experience working with tree climbers or experience in tree climbing.

Education & Experience:

• Foreman experience – 2 years leading medium size crew(s).
• Three (3) years of related industry experience required.

Pre-Screen:

• Upon offer, employees will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background and/or MVR check.

License & Certifications:

• Valid Driver's License required.
• Commercial Driver’s License or ability to obtain one.
