The Manager of Therapy will provide leadership, coordination, and day-to-day management for all aspects of the assigned clinical responsibilities in a manner that ensures exceptional quality care. They will perform activities that contribute to the achievement of the company's strategic goals and initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the therapy division.
- Supervise and mentor therapy staff, including physical, occupational, and speech therapists.
- Ensure high standards of client care and adherence to clinical protocols.
- Oversee the development and implementation of therapy programs.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance client outcomes.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of therapy services.
- Ensure efficient and effective delivery of therapy services.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to therapy services.
- Facilitate continuing education and professional growth opportunities for therapy staff.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Represent the therapy department in interactions with clients, families, healthcare providers, and the community.
- Promote the organization's therapy services and engage in community outreach.
- Identify and implement opportunities for innovation and growth within the therapy department.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Current, valid state licensure as a physical therapist, occupational therapist, or speech-language pathologist.
- Certification in a relevant specialty area is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in a therapy-related field.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement clinical policies and procedures.
- Proficiency in quality improvement and risk management.
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
- In-depth knowledge of therapy practices, standards, and regulations.
