What You’ll Do
- Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects to consistently exceed sales targets.
- Lead Generation: Actively seek out and secure new business through networking, job site visits, cold calling, and referrals.
- Client Engagement: Present tailored solutions to small, mid-sized, and large businesses, aligning with their growth goals.
- Account Development: Establish and nurture long-term client relationships, positioning Arbor Valley as their go-to partner for nursery needs.
- Consultative Selling: Use your expertise to uncover customer needs, overcome objections, and close deals.
- Strategic Initiatives: Drive innovative strategies to grow and retain revenue, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For
- A Hunter Mindset: You’re resilient, self-motivated, and love the thrill of closing the deal.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Your persuasive and consultative style builds trust and delivers results.
- Passion for Plants: You appreciate the beauty and value of trees, shrubs, and greenery and can convey that to clients.
- Proven Sales Success: 5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in the nursery or related industry.
- Team Player: You work well independently but thrive in collaboration with a results-driven team.
What You Bring
- 5 years of proven sales experience
- Knowledge of the Greenhouse & Nursery Industry (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and ability to travel across the state as needed.
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
