Arbor View Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Activities Director to join our team. Position Overview:
The primary purpose of the position is to plan, organize, and direct a program of activities which provides opportunity for entertainment, exercise, relaxation, and expression and fulfills basic psychological, social, and spiritual needs which will be available to all residents of the facility.

Requirements:
- Certified activities professionals preferred.
- Compassionate and patient-focused care.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
- Previous experience in a long-term care setting.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily activities and programs for residents, ensuring engagement and participation.
- Develop and implement recreational therapy plans tailored to individual needs, including those with Alzheimer's and dementia.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to foster a supportive environment.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed and provide guidance on aging issues.
- Manage schedules for events and activities, ensuring a diverse range of options for all residents.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
