WHAT YOU'll DO
As the Facilities Maintenance Manger, you will ensure that all clubhouse, lodging, and facility operations run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities include:
- Performs a variety of routine semi-skilled maintenance for District facilities, including, but not limited to, carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical trades work. Ensures that facilities are available for use and consistently maintained in a safe and clean condition.
- Maintain facility exterior by providing support or replacement to items such as painting; landscape care; building fences or other needed items for aesthetics and function.
- Performs custodial tasks.
- Changes light bulbs and repairs ballasts as necessary.
- Conducts routine inspections and maintenance of heating, electrical, and air conditioning equipment; replaces filters; identifies and reports more complex maintenance needs to supervisor.
- Keeps supervisors informed of any damage to, or any problems with, and club facilities or property.
- Informs supervisors of any problems or incidents that may have occurred on the job.
- Maintains club personal appearance standards. Wears assigned uniforms.
- Adheres to all Dormie Network’s policies and procedures.
- Works with all other employees to become an efficient working team.
- Responsible for taking directions from the General Manager and performing the assigned task with limited supervision.
- Possesses and understanding of the importance of safety and sees that safe operation procedures are observed in all daily activities. Adheres to all safety codes.
- Maintains an adequate inventory of required supplies and operates in a fiscally responsible manner.
- Possesses an understanding of the equipment and how to best maintain it for maximum life and minimum downtime.
- Assists in all other special projects as directed.
- Must be well groomed at all times while on the property.
- Must be well mannered, display a smile at all times, greet guests, members, and fellow employees when encountered, show appreciation to the guests and the members, and demonstrate a willingness to help guests and members at all times.
We're are looking for an individual with:
- Working knowledge of light and heavy maintenance equipment.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical and plumbing.
- Skill in the use of a variety of equipment repair tools and machinery.
- Ability to climb ladders.
- Communicate clearly both orally and in writing.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Work independently in the absence of supervision.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- High school Diploma and or GED
- Previous experience with use of maintenance tools and equipment preferred.

- Oversee daily operation of department.
- Prolonged periods standing and walking.
- Able to walk and maneuver on uneven surface.
- Able to bend, crouch, stretch, push, pull and move as needed to utilize machinery and equipment.

- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to drive local machinery, if licensed.
