Job Summary
As a Facilities & Maintenance Manager you are responsible for the overall maintenance of equipment, facilities and site inventory. Maintaining, repairing and servicing vehicles, machinery, and equipment, ensuring they function safely and efficiently. You will diagnose mechanical issues, perform routine maintenance and make necessary repairs on various types of equipment and vehicles. Additionally, you will also be responsible for the flow of inventory in and out of the facility. This will include the loading/unloading of trucks, maintaining and tracking records of inventory, as well as the organization and cleanliness of the facility, both inside and out.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, Inside and outside, and properly dispose of hazadours materials.
- Foresight on equipment conditions
- Order necessary parts and supplies for maintenance
- Understand and promote site safety
- Analyze data and statistics to continually improve processes.
- Use software to track inventory characteristics, types, and movement.
- Audit processes and inventory to track performance.
- Work with suppliers to purchase goods and build good working relationships.
- Find ways to reduce costs and optimize control procedures.
- Ensure adherence to approved budget.
- Execute daily inventory analysis; identify and resolve discrepancies and problems.
- Report findings, reports, and data to upper management as needed.
- All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to diagnose, research, and solve problems.
- Excellent math and analytical skills.
- Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports.
- Excellent knowledge of forecasting and data analysis.
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Prior experience with inventory management or maintenance
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to and in excess of 40 pounds.
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time
