Arbors Management has an opening for an experienced Building Maintenance Technician 2 at a townhome complex in Plum, PA. This full-time position will allow you to use your skills in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, drywall and groundskeeping. Pay for the Building Maintenance Technician 2 is $50-60K based on experience. Typical hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. This position will require on-call time for after hours emergencies.

As the Building Maintenance Technician 2, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing physical and visible inspection of property grounds including outside areas and individual apartment units
- Communicating with tenants regarding needed repairs

Performing needed repairs which will consist of the following:
- Electrical repair (switches, outlets, fixtures, etc.)
- Plumbing repair (leaks, fixture changes, drain clogs, etc.)
- Painting
- Drywall repair
- HVAC - minor troubleshooting, system changes (no cert. required)
- Managing supply inventory and organization of the Maintenance Shop
- Completing work orders for all repairs
- Working with the property manager for work instructions
- Handling emergency calls after hours as needed
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3 years experience working in a building maintenance position
- Physical ability to lift 60 lbs, stand, bend, walk, stoop, crawl and/or climb for the duration of an 8-hour shift
- Ability to perform work in all skill areas listed above
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to use a computer and personal cell phone (reimbursement included)
- Must pass pre-employment drug and background screen
- Must have valid drivers license, insurance and personal vehicle
Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
