Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Corporate Controller to oversee the financial operations of our multi-site manufacturing company based in Cleveland, Ohio. This key leadership position will be responsible for managing all aspects of corporate accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing finance, a strategic mindset, and the ability to collaborate with senior management to drive financial performance and operational efficiency across all locations.
Essential Job Functions:
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for all sites including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
- Provide in-depth analysis of financial results, highlighting key trends, variances, and performance indicators
Internal Controls & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, accounting standards (GAAP), and tax laws
- Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial reporting
- Coordinate and manage the external audit process and work closely with auditors to address any issues or discrepancies
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting and finance professionals
- Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and collaboration within the finance team
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with senior leadership and department heads across all sites
- Manage and update financial forecasts, providing insights into potential risks and opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 7 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with at least 2 years in management, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance regulations
- Strong business acumen with the ability to influence senior leadership decisions
Working Conditions
- Full-time in-office position with flexibility for remote work when needed
- Occasional travel required to company sites within the US
Salary : $110,000 - $140,000
