Meals on Wheels - Albion, NY - Immediate Need for a Driver
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for the preparation of carriers for outgoing food.
- Responsible for loading carriers in vehicle for transport.
- Complete all logs and paperwork required.
- Deliver MOW route.
- Adheres to the Code of Conduct for Staff Members and Volunteers which is included in the Personnel Manual.
- Conducts self in such a manner as to meet agency policies and standards at all times.
- Performs any other duties as deemed necessary by Nutrition Program Manager, Director of Business Services, Associate Executive Director of Day Services, Executive Director.
- Punctuality and attendance during scheduled work hours are essential functions of this position.
Nonessential Functions:
- Participate in corporate compliance and quality assurance activities
- Other related duties as assigned
Reporting Responsibilities: Reports to Nutrition Program Manager
Supervisory Responsibilities: None exercised
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Must be clean, organized and have the ability to follow and carry out directions with little supervision.
- Must communicate in a professional manner.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be capable of lifting a minimum of 40 pounds.
Minimum Requirements:
- This position requires a valid NYS Drivers License with an acceptable driving record as determined by Arc GLOW.
- High School diploma or GED is preferred.
- Driving and delivery experience preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
